Once your design is approved and paid for, your stone goes into our Saturday batch with the rest of the week's orders, so you get shop-quality work without the mobile fee. Drop it off, or we'll pick it up and bring it back for $125.*

Straight Answers
Why is there a $500 mobile fee?
It puts a full industrial sandblasting rig at your address — compressor, blaster, stencils, dust control — plus travel, setup, breakdown and loadout. The engraving is priced on top. Bring your stone to our Alton shop and there's no mobile fee.
How do I get my boulder ready?
We glue a rubber blast mat to the stone, and glue won't stick to dirt, moss, loose shale or moisture. Before we arrive: pressure wash the boulder, knock off any loose or flaking shale, let it dry completely (this can take several hours, so wash well ahead), and keep it covered until we get there. It should be in its final spot with room to work around it and a clear path for our truck. Text us a photo of the clean, dry, covered stone at least 24 hours before your date. If it isn't ready when we arrive, we can't engrave that day. Washed stone needs hours to dry before the glue will hold. The job gets rescheduled, the $500 trip fee is forfeited, and a new $500 trip fee applies to the return visit. If you want us to wash and prep the stone while we're there, that's $300/hour (one-hour minimum) on top. We'll send you our full site-prep agreement to sign when you book.
My stone yard gave me your name. What now?
Landscapers Depot, Martignetti and Gilbert Block all send customers our way. Get the measurements and a photo of your stone, send it through the quote form with the yard's name, and once it's set we come out and engrave it in place.
Can I bring my stone to you instead?
Yes. If you can get it to our Alton, NH shop, we engrave it there with no mobile fee. Small garden and pet stones go in our Saturday batch. Approve your design and pay by Thursday, and it's engraved that Saturday.
Do you pick up and deliver?
Yes. For small stones — pet memorials, garden stones, plaques — we'll pick it up, engrave it and bring it back for a flat $125 — as long as you're in our local area and it's a stone one person can safely lift by hand. Farther away or heavier, we'll quote it. Large stones are moved with a crane or Moffett truck, placed exactly where you want them, and quoted per job.
How long does it take?
Most jobs are done in a single visit once your proof is approved — often a few hours on-site. Big boulders or detailed artwork can take longer, and we'll tell you up front.
How far do you travel?
New Hampshire, northern Massachusetts and southern/western Maine. Outside that? Send us your location — sometimes it makes sense, and we'll tell you straight.
Do you take commercial work?
Yes — entrance monuments, business and subdivision signs, clubs, HOAs, veterans memorials and dedication stones. We don't do cemetery headstones or repair work on existing monuments.
Is the engraving permanent?
Yes. We sandblast directly into the stone — the same way monuments and permanent public signs are made. It's there as long as the rock is.
